Fatigue phones, tablet computers skyrocketed in 2011

Accenture pollsters predict that consumer spending on mobile phone (excluding smartphones) will drop to 39 percent. Meanwhile, the PC (personal computer) fell 56 percent in 2011 compared to 2010.

On the contrary, the purchasing power of consumers to TV 3D technology will actually soar to 500 percent, followed by tablet computers predicted to grow 160 percent. Furthermore, e-book reader devices rose about 133 percent, and smartphones by 26 percent.

Just to note, Accenture conducted an annual survey focuses on the use of expenditure as well as a user when they are confronted with 19 different electronic consumer technology.

The sample involved in this survey of 8,000 respondents. They come from eight different countries, both developed and developing countries, including Brazil, China, India, Russia, France, Germany, Japan and the United States (U.S.).
